Race Weekend Details
Race weekend is almost here, and we can't wait to send you and your team on an unforgettable adventure through the Colorado Rockies! Before you hit the road (and trails!), here are a few important details to help make your race weekend run smoothly.
Packet Pickup & Team Check-In
Thursday, September 9 | 4:00–6:00 PM
Location: Westbound & Down Brewing Company, Idaho Springs, CO
-
Team captains or designated team members may check in on behalf of their entire team.
-
All required safety gear MUST be present for inspection, even if your entire team is not attending.
-
Please review the Race Handbook to ensure you have everything required.
-
The back parking lot at Westbound & Down will also serve as our start line on Friday morning.
- Stay after check-in to have dinner and/or drinks at WB&D!
Friday, September 10 | 5:00–8:00 AM
-
If your team did not complete check-in and safety gear inspection on Thursday, please arrive at least ONE HOUR before your assigned start time.
-
Teams that checked in Thursday should still arrive with enough time to park, organize their runners and get ready to start.
- Teams start anywhere between 5 am and usually as late as 8 am. Your start times are assigned to you before race week based on your reported running paces.

This is your race weekend command center!
Each runner will receive a custom invitation to download the Endurance HQ App. We strongly encourage every team member, especially drivers and team captains, to download it before race weekend.

One Last Thing…
Flaming Foliage Relay is about so much more than getting from Idaho Springs to Buena Vista. It's about the adventure, the teamwork, the unexpected moments and the stories you'll be telling long after your legs recover.
Be kind to our volunteers, look out for your teammates, respect the communities we travel through and remember to have some FUN along the way.
We can't wait to see you at the start line!
Happy trails,
